Snapchat Pixel Setup in Trackify X

This guide explains how to set up your Snapchat Pixel in TrackifyX.

Step 1: Log in to Snapchat in Trackify X

  1. Open Trackify X from your Shopify Admin.

  2. Go to the Snapchat section from the left menu.

  3. Click Login and sign in with your Snapchat Ads account.

  4. Grant the required permissions.

Once connected, your Snapchat ad accounts and pixels will be available inside Trackify X.


Step 2: Add a Snapchat Master Pixel

  1. Under the Tracking pixel tab, click Add pixel.

  2. Select your Snapchat Organization.

  3. Select your Ad Account.

  4. Choose the Snapchat Pixel from the list.

    • Only pixels assigned to the selected ad account will appear.

  5. Select Pixel TypeMaster pixel.

  6. Enable the server side API

  7. Click Add pixel.

Pixel Types Explained

  • Master Pixel
    Tracks all events for all products (recommended).

  • Niche Tag Pixel
    Tracks events only for products with selected product tags.

  • Collection Pixel
    Tracks events only when products from selected collections are involved.


Step 3: Add Snapchat Web Pixel Script (Customer Events)

This step ensures proper checkout and purchase tracking using Shopify’s Customer Events.

  1. In TrackifyX settings, scroll down to the Custom Script section.

  2. Click Copy to copy the script.

  3. Click Go to Settings > Customer events.

  4. In Shopify:

    • Go to Settings → Customer events

    • Click More actions → Custom pixels

    • Click Add custom pixel

  5. Paste the copied script.

  6. Click Save, then Connect to grant checkout access.

  7. Return to Trackify X and click Next.


Step 4: Enable Trackify X App Embed (Required)

  1. Go to the Trackify X Dashboard.

  2. You’ll see a banner prompting you to Enable app embed.

  3. Click Enable app embed.

  4. Shopify Theme Editor will open:

    • Go to App embeds

    • Enable Trackify X

  5. Click Save (top right).
